SHIRO: the Hokkaido fragrance house that refuses to shout
SHIRO started in Sunagawa, a small city in Hokkaido, and it still behaves like a brand from a small city in Hokkaido. The bottles are plain. The scents are named after the thing they smell like. Savon smells like clean laundry. White Tea smells like white tea. There is no story you have to buy into.
The house style is what people call a skin scent: it sits close, it does not announce itself across a room, and it fades into you rather than sitting on top of you.
